OG:Crystal Success Stories with MastersofCoins
It is time for the famous OG:Crystal success stories which brings closer the project and the community as everyone has the chance to get to know each other! This time we are introducing MastersofCoins to you.
1. Who are you and what do we need to know about you
I am a futurist technocrat who has been exploring emerging tech over the last couple of decades, having engaged with Crypto specifically for over a decade. I have seen almost all the seasons and evolutions from the rise of Hotmail, Y2K, the rise of smartphones, the emergence of blockchain, Bitcoin, Ethereum, altcoins, ERC Tokens, various forms of NFTs, and so on — until Organic Growth:Crystals. And with Organic Growth:Crystals I embarked on my journey into great collaborative regenerative digital art pieces, in the form of Crystal — the creation of which includes the wallet owner’s identity, the wallet’s history, collector’s strategy & decisions to grow the crystals. I am also entering into ‘Metaverse’ with the recent Big Bang.
I have participated in many promising projects over the years however I really feel OG:Crystals is a one-of-its-kind initiative and certainly paves the way in the history of not only blockchain, cryptos, NFTs, tokens but even in the arts and community collaboration, nature protection, etc.. I am living history with this initiative every day and have a great feeling in for coming days, months, and years — particularly excited for naming Marine Species as I am really amazed by the ever-increasing volume of interesting ideas from this project.
2. When and how did you discover NFTs?
I was primarily into blockchain applications and into top coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, etc., and a few good blockchain-based projects running exchanges with payback and even virtual property tokens like Mega Crypto Pollis, etc. During this journey,
I came across NFTs as digital art assets using blockchain with proof of ownership, which makes it easy to buy and sell safely with authenticity.
However, my interest in NFTs shot up dramatically this year with the Big Bang of Metaverse and I rushed to engage with some verified NFTs with good teams, and ultimately with Organic Growth:Crystal.
3. What was the first NFT you’ve ever bought?
I really don’t remember my first but based on my current wallet availability I can say my first NFT was Land blocks from Mega Crypto Pollis which I bought around Q2–2018. However, I truly feel that I am now entering into a real NFT, OG:Crystals, which is going to set examples for upcoming initiatives.
4. How did you hear about OG:CR?
As usual, I was always looking around for upcoming and emerging technologies, projects and got engaged in a few great projects by Art Blocks, Larva Labs, Doodles, Alpacadabraz and collected a few of them as well. One day I got a lead from the Larva Labs Cryptopunks discord channel about OG:Crystals during its minting stage.
After further exploration of OG:Crystals I was amazed that such an initiative was even happening and got fully engrossed into it. Although I was a late entrant and missed the opportunity to mint seed myself, I was lucky enough to find great crystals available in the secondary market (OpenSea & Rarible). This in a way has given me an edge in that I can curate selected crystals from all the gens to grow.
5. How do you grow your Crystals?
In my growth strategy, I have classified my crystals into various categories. I already had Art Blocks and bought Ksoid, Omnimorphs to set up my wallet for a better chance to get these special traits. I then kept a few of them for collaborations with suitable co-creators. I will keep some due to their unique shape and features. I have even also reserved some crystals to get through the raffle with OG:CR ‘Super Wallet’, hoping that I will get a chance for the same.
6. What is your OG:Crystal’s growth strategy?
As explained above I would like to grow all the crystals till Gen7 however also observe if any crystal transforms into a great shape with nice traits before reaching Gen7 where I would then stop growing that crystal to keep the unique shapes as I have with Fractal Stonefish and A Bird Carrying a Jug of Water.
7. Why do you like the OG:CR project?
It’s one of a kind project which already got to be front-line at @hermitage_eng, the world’s largest museum & be part of the history of the #metaverse in its inception phase. Another marvel is its collaborative creators, co-creators & community. Everyone in this initiative is contributing hard which will certainly raise great values in the future. I also like the idea of physical Crystal reefs where all the crystals will be included and showcased around the globe at prominent museums. This is truly a unicorn initiative & I am lucky to be part of this project and living history in making.
